How the laser welding work

Laser welding machine radiates laser beams with excellent directivity, high brightness, high intensity, high monochromaticity and high coherence into the surface area of the workpiece. After the laser beams are focused by the optical system, the power density of the laser focus is 104-107W/cm2. Through the interaction between laser and the welded object, the laser beam is very short. In time, a highly concentrated heat source zone is formed at the welded area, and the heat energy makes the welded area cool and crystallize after melting to form a solid weld and weld. According to the different lasers used and their working modes, there are two kinds of laser welding machines in common use. One is pulse laser welding, which is mainly used for single point fixed continuous and thin material welding machine, forming a circular weld point when welding machine; the other is continuous laser welding, which is mainly used for welding machine and cutting large and thick parts. A continuous weld is formed in the process of welding machine. Generally speaking, the selection of welding machine material, laser welding machine and processing table are the main factors affecting the effect of laser welding machine. Whether the melting phenomenon can occur or not depends on the time, power density and peak power of the laser acting on the surface of the material. If the above parameters are well controlled, laser can be used to process various welding machines. In laser welding machine, the focus position of 8 optical terminals is one of the key control parameters. Under certain laser power and speed, only the focus is in the optimum position range, the maximum penetration and good weld shape can be obtained.
